Georgia Ezra has a lot on the go. Based in Melbourne, she’s the Founder and Director of her own interior design practice Studio Ezra. She also sources and supplies artisan tiles through Tiles of Ezra and bespoke homewares via AHW. Georgia calls herself a ‘treasure hunter and market maven’. She has a passion for pushing the boundaries of modern design to create truly unique interior spaces for her clients.
I caught up with Georgia to discuss the impact that interior design can have on the health and wellbeing of occupants. In the interview, Georgia shares here philosophy of designing for all the senses and why it’s important to get an interior designer on board early on in a project.
Another key piece of advice from Georgia is to design for you. Too often people design or build for what they are told will sell. It’s more important to create your own space, for your own needs. And as Georgia says, unique can be ultimately be very attractive too.
