Won’t they degrade over time with exposure to UV radiation in New Zealand and Australia? May 31, 2017 at 8:40 pm #3329 Matthew Cutler-WelshKeymaster Basically, No. Modern uPVC is formulated specifically to withstand harsh outdoor environments including very cold and very hot conditions as well as high levels of UV radiation. If you’re still concerned, leading manufacturers offer uPVC frames with an aluminium protective covering. Check out episode 77, my interview with Warm Windows for more info.
